Have been contemplating new slip ons for my 14 sgs, currently running fuelmoto 2-1-2 ceramic headpipe and jackpot dyno mufflers with comp baffles. Sounds pretty mean and runs great, but maybe would like a bit louder. Have seen a few threads about cfr mufflers and they seem like a very good quality item, people say they are loud as f***, but any clue how much louder than jackpot's with comp baffles they would be? Anyone running them with fuelmoto headpipe, and does this combo sound/perform well. Haven't come across any cfr's in the classifieds so I assume most that install them are happy with them.
u ain't gonna find any in the classifieds because everyone wants them and they're very difficult finding. I was on a waiting list for 4 months.
The people who say they're loud as f*** have not actually heard them in person. They're repeating sh_t that they read off of the internet or heard on Youtube. CFR's have a deep base sound.
If you PM with your email address, I'll send you what my newly installed CFR's sounds like.
I have one set of smooth chrome left on the shelf. $657 shipped to Ohio. Give me a call and I can ship today. Lead times on these mufflers vary drastically. I have all varieties on order at all times. But they arrive when they arrive. I run them on my bike (cobra Power Port header with a stock 103 and they sound great. This bike has had CFR's on it since I bought it so I don't have much to compare it to.
I've seen there is a waiting list from time to time. Not too fond of that, I have a hard time waiting a few days for shipping, I am not the patient type and would go nuts waiting for months

I have been running my CFR pipes for a few years now, on both my 12 FLHX and now on my 14 FLHXS with the same FM head pipe as you. Not sure how yours sounds but I wouldn't describe mine as "loud as f*** by any means. It's got a nice low rumble and gets pretty loud when you get on it but at cruise is pretty tame.
CFRs are not loud they have an old muscle car sound to them in my opinion, there is a video on my profile if you want to check it out. The video are the CFRS matched with the Cobra Power Ports.

Man this is damn tempting, but did the price go up recently? Looks like in some older threads u were selling for $637 shipped? I'm assuming the cfr would be noticeably louder than my jackpot's with comp baffles, anybody know for sure
The last set of smooth chrome sold to the other guy on this thread. I have one set of step cut chrome which are $750 a set and that is it until more come in. Date: unknown.
Dude bitching about $20. Are you kidding me? He who sleeps, loses out. I paid $700 for my double fluted, no problem with that.
With the ridin season slowing down, dudes got nothing but time to upgrade their bikes. $20, who cares. Did you notice the tone of Hogpro. If you don't want it, somebody else will grab it....just sayin...

Relax there fella, not bitching about $20, just stating a fact that he was selling them $20 cheaper in other posts. Damn near $700 isn't exactly cheap for slip on mufflers, so every bit helps, understand??
