So I called Carlini Design a few days ago and placed an order. I got 16" 1.5" diameter Gangster Apes, Chrome High Roller risers, a bushing set, and the guy I talked to asked me if I needed a cable kit as well. I originally planned on going with Magnum Shielding cables, but once he told me these were Barnett stainless cables I couldn't pass them up for the price. I also ordered one of their black shadowbox shirts, and the guy told me he'd give me the shirt for $20 (they normally retail for $40).
Fast forward to today, and my stuff arrives (fast!). I was charged less than the total I was originally given, and I soon found out why: sure enough there was the shirt I ordered in the box, but it wasn't on the invoice - meaning the guys at Carlini threw in the shirt for free! It just served to sweeten the deal, especially after seeing how professionally everything was packed to ensure nothing was damaged in transit.
A little bit of a story/rant, I know. But this was a seamless customer experience for me and I can see why Carlini has so many fans on the forum.
I too went with the 16", 1.5" Gangsters but wondering if the 14" would have fit me better. I guess I will soon find out.
I'm 6'4" and along with the bars I also ordered a Le Pera Bare Bones seat so I can stretch my legs out a bit. I will see how that works before extending my floorboards. I think for me the 16"s will work just fine.
BTW your bike will look great with those bars. I am already of the opinion that your bike is one of the best looking on the forum, and I'm sure they will make it even better.

I would love to put their 16" Gangsters on my Road King. Everyone wires them internally, but in going with the 1.5"ers, are you going to cable them internally also? I think that would be the ultimately most striking, clean look!

A friend of mine has 18" 1.5 Gangsters on his RK, and it looks great! I think I am going to do the external cabling simply because this will be my first handlebar install, and I want to keep it as simple as possible.
