My '05 leftover, they sold at list with 500 in extras. I think it came to 20,500 tax and all...

My two-toned '05 FXSTD/I listed for $18.4K. With stage I, SE slip-ons, and title/tax fees it amounted to about $20K out the door.

Thanks for all the responses.

Jezcruzin that's a great price. The 2007 is MSRP $18.3. They wanted 21.4 out the door and I offered them $20. They said the best they could do was 21.1 so I sort of left it there with that dealership. I'll probably just end up coughing up the money, but not quite yet

Whoa, they are high priced bikes but that is the scheme of things. A little off the beaten path for Harley with it's looks and hard to find add-ons. They have killed it now but I think in a couple of years they will breath life back into it. The Deuce has a hard corps following of riders.
I bought mine 02, a car dealer here with a toy garage always has a HD so his yuppie scum friends can ride around the block and pose. My friend was a salesman at the stealership so he called me and told me to come down. Black deuce with all the chrome on it, Stage 1 kit, etc. and get this, 102 miles on the clock. I snatched it up for 17K and tax, license and other misc. charges. Upgraded for a long time now and just finished building a new engine, upgraded to 95" with Edelbrock head package and a 45Mikuni. Dyno tested this weekend and she finally made 102hp and 98tq.

Hey Jon,

Do you mean here that they have discontinued the deuce? I've heard rumors about that in the past but nothing definite. Anyone know for sure if there will at least be a 2008 Deuce?

I just bought 2 bikes....one for me and one for my wife (she wouldn't stop hounding me about it).

New 07 Softail Classic.... MSRP (including all shipping, setup, and security system fees): $19,217

I paid $19,000 even and a $500 gift card. They would barely deal on the price, but my suggestion of a gift card made it easier to give me more money. Plus, I spent it all with them obviously so they weren't out much.

Used 05 Road king custom: Sticker: $16,995.....Paid: $16,100. It had a custom paint job and $4000+ of HD accessories.

My point: Really, really think about a used bike! They will work with you on the price. Especially with the 07's being out.
