Well I drive with my stock Deluxe driving lights on 24/7 and never had an issue, but I do know it looks like one big light from a distance. If I had them mounted on the crash bar, it would be much more distributed across the front of the bike. And as far as the laws, I am more interested in staying safe than pissing off a few ignorant drivers! Have you seen how many people drive with there fog lights on these days????? It looks like an alien encounter driving at night anymore! It's time we fight back......

I put the Eclipse HID lights http://www.xopco.com/html/hid_lighting.htmlinstrad of the stock passing lamps the ballasts are built into the housing and at 149 for the post mount you cannot go wrong. These work as an augmentaiton to my HID headlight.
