Deluxe Front Brake
Performing a brake job on a 2008 Deluxe when I noticed that the Bridge Bolt / Pad Pin on the front caliper is not a complete smooth shaft through each of the brake pads. The inboard brake pad eye is resting on threads. This simply looks wrong! It's my belief that this would impede the smooth movement of the brake pad.
Someone with a deluxe please chime in. Has the wrong bolt been installed.

Both of the Bridge Bolts are identical so mixing up the two bolts couldn't happen. In the Harley parts manual, these two bolts have the same stock number. I see only two possibilities, (1) someone alone the way replaced both bridge bolts with improper parts or, (2) This is how Harley designed the caliper which would surprise me.
