Be happpy cause you got over 3k more miles than I've ever got. About 5k is the absolute best for me.

 

Wow it's crazy how low of a mileage you guys are getting! I mean got 12k on my commanders and there was probably at least 1k left on the rear. My front had even more thread left. I don't know what causes any excessive wear, but dang 5k?
I was using my dyna as a daily commuter: about 60mile round trip for the most part. So it was largely highway riding. Plus bar hopping and longer trips.

 

Got less than 5000 out of my last 2 Dunlops. Never again if I can help it. And I really don't ride that hard.
