Default Brake cables rub on tank when bars are full right

I just got this bike (2010 Fatboy Lo) a few weeks ago and I noticed that when the bars are all the way to the right, the lines that leave the front brake lever rub against the tank. I can't tell if the lines protrude more than they should or if the bars are moving too far.

Is there any sort of adjustment on the bars, or do I need to adjust the position of the brake lines somehow?

You can't control the excursion of the handlebars although the shape of the handlebars (width and pullback) can certainly affect the position of the brake cable.

When I lowered my handlebars (HD beach bars), the front brake cable also rubbed on my tank. I loosened the brake line at the master cylinder and rotated the brake line upwards so it just clears the tank by a couple of millimeters. The only other option is to rotate the handlebars or, as aces mentioned, secure the line to something to avoid it hitting the tank.

The picture below shows how my brake line is secured to the master cylinder. If you post a picture, we can get a better idea of your particular setup.

Ok, I'll try that tonight. If it doesn't work I'll post a pic or two.

Thanks!
