i tried one for size just to see how it compared to my fatboy space wise. Thought from the pictures I'd seen I'd have my legs out straight to the pegs, but sadly no, still felt cramped, more so than mine. They must have used a short guy in the photos.
Still an awesome looking machine though, diggin that 21inch front wheel.
Yeah, they finally got a dyna and a softail mated.
Congrats.. yawn...
OK, I have never thought about it that way. You know when a Lion and Tiger mate, the baby is pretty cool. Maybe you should give the bike a bit more time, it may grow on you.
Picked up mine 3/14. Took some work to find one and I have yet to see another one (dealership or on the road). The 5 dealers around me all stated 2-3 weeks before they would get another one. They did have a CVO at Laconia when I purchased it but it was gone when I went back for first service.
Not much done yet. Blue, rush slipons, pegs, and removed the reflectors. Next simple mod will be finding a solution to the useless mirrors (all I can see are my shoulders).
I found that when I glance in the mirror if I tuck my elbow in I can see behind me. Otherwise it's the same view as you (shoulders). I'm thinking it's cause the bars are so wide.
Waiting myself to see some of the mods done on these. One of the few newer bikes the MOCO has come out with lately I like. Not enough to ever consider getting rid of my Night Train for though!
I'd start by getting different bars and lowering it.
Sat on one in the Dutch dealership last week, felt very comfortable, and certainly gets attention from passers-by (a vivid black std model), and that rear tire and fender looks nice (to my old eyes anyways). think the taller riders might have to make some fit adjustments. For the record I did see the Silver & Chrome CVO version about a month ago at a German HD dealership and although the bike is nice for a CVO, one thing I did notice was that the silver paint & frame really blended in with all the chrome, seriously taking away from all that Chrome CVO stuff. BUT those CVO rims were Sweet ! Someone said it before , Standard Breakout with the right treatment and those CVO rims would totally rock.
