I just installed the headlight today, so I can't give you a real opinion yet. I think it's pretty cool have the turn signals installed in the head lamp. Cleaned up the handle bars. I need to wash her, she hasn't has a bath since the Laughlin run.
I'm surprised you noticed the leaned back bars. I like the lowered look. I still going to switch out the bars. I just trying to decided which bars to go with. I had previously purchased a set of 17" apes, but they just didn't fit the look. So they went up on ebay when the came back from powder coat.
I agree with you about the black. I do need a contrasting color. I have a buddy who does custom pin stripping, I just want to make sure I get my new fenders installed before I pull the friend card. I don't him to have to do it twice. I was thinking about using some flat black and red striping.
Personally, I think a lot of black is perfect on your bike. Slim is an old school vibe and all the black keeps that vibe going even with the wheels. Apes would screw it up as would a number of gangsta or more modern looking stuff. Great looking bike

+1
I'd add some black brake/clutch levers. The only things I wouldn't have done are the headlight trim ring (the stock one fits the character better to me) and the emblem delete - I'd do something subtle like the one below maybe - but really these are just my tiny personal nitpitcks, the bike is rad as is...
Nice mods, I see where you going with this, may I suggest some black caps for those bolt nuts, cheap and make big difference.
My slim is going through some drastic changes, albeit in a whole different direction, will post Picts when done, I'm a little nervous as I'm playing with modern and retro at the same time.. Wish me luck so it sure as hell wasn't cheap!!!
Looks badass man! Great job and it's cool to see you went a different route than most with your bike. I agree with you, the Slim is the perfect blank canvas to build what you want.
