Hey guys quick question I have noticed that my engine case bolts have started turning white has anyone else seen this? Is there a way to restore them? I am pretty meticulous about my ride so this is driving me crazy. I guess this may br from humidity.

 

change them to chrome harley sells them

 

what cleaner have you been using on them?

 

have thought of chroming. no harsh cleaners soap and water.

 

I'm replacing mine with stainless 12pt bolts from AlloyBoltz.com. Live across the street from the Ocean and corrosion is a problem. They have show polished with smooth tops on the bolts or what I got is polished but with markings still visible. Swapping out all my bolts bit by bit and with these so throws a little bling to the flat black and matt paint.
