I don't think this would fall under the DIY or cheap mods sticky but what are some of your best bang for the buck mods you've made? I'm thinking about mods that aren't maybe the cheapest but they work GREAT and are easy to do.
One of mine is the Mini Beast 2 horn. It is Loud and truly plug and play...5 minute install with no relays or install kit like the HD horn.
I don't know if this really counts as a mod or not but the best money I have spent so far on my Fatboy would be "The bikers friend". Gives me great back support and plenty of storage. Keeps the nice clean look of the bike and looks a lot better than saddle bags.
Hands down, my Custom Dynamics LED turn signals and brake light.
Easy install and insanely bright. People don't tailgate anymore...
It should have been one of the first things I did, instead of one of the last.

Exactly what I was going to say...except I have the run/turn/stop lights. I'm sorry I waited 4 months after I got the bike to do it.
That's a tough one, it depends on what you want to improve, muscle or ride comfort and handling. For power my entire engine. 1 without the other would not be as effective. For cool, comfort and ride, the Shotgun Shock for sure, hands down.
