Just did mine yesterday, all the tips so far are good ones - get the service manual for torque specs, you need a long allen for the bottom bolt in the tube preferably on an impact gun, use red/blue loctite in the appropriate spots, a foot long 2" piece of pvc sliced lengthwise works great to tap in the fork seals, make sure you put in the drain screw before you add oil to the fork, use the pinch bolts in the triple tree to lock down the tubes to keep them from spinning while you remove/torque certain bolts. Take pics with your phone if you need to remember the order of things. Also the book calls for the tank to be removed so you can easily disconnect/reconnect the wiring harnesses but I was able to do it without removal of the tank. It's not hard if you have the tools, just take your time. Good luck.

I found mine at Lowe's:
Kobalt 3/8-in Drive Hex 6-in Driver Socket - p/n 338170

I just cut the ball end off...
