I am looking to have a second set of tins (a longer fender set) and I am pretty sure a 2007 Fatboy fender set is a direct swap over to my 2007 FXSTC. Can anyone confirm that?
And if so, has anyone ever put a Fatboy front fender over the skinnier 21" laced front wheel on the FXSTC? I also though about getting a deluxe front fender but was curious if anyone has tried a Fatboy front. I love the FX front end so I don't really want to change that so I'm curious how these fenders would look on it.
I'm not sure if the fender bolts on the FL fender will line up with the FX forks, but you will have to add some spacers for the FL fender to fit. Out of curiousity, the fender mounts on the FX fork are further apart than the ones on the FL.

Yea, I figured the FX front end is wider but I thought I could just use larger spacers to get it to fit.... if the hole pattern lines up. Certainly someone has tried this. Lol
For your Skinny Wheels, I know that Deluxe Fronts look a lot better than the FatBoy ones.. but both of them would look a bit too wide, you would need either the wider 21" front or a Custom Narrow front fender.

Yea, I was worried it might look too "Fat" over the skinny wheel.... but many with Deluxe's go with the skinny front wheel....but of course, that's with the FL front end.
I really dig your front fender so I may do something similar to that.
Unless I am mistaken, your talking about tins for the bike in your sig pic, correct.? Thats a wide glide front end, so the width will not be an issue. Any FL Softail fender will fit between them. The only issue you may have is whether you need to re-drill the mounting holes to accommodate a taller tire than comes on a Fat Boy. Heres a guy that did it with a 16.

Interesting that he decided to stay with the bobtail rest even after changing out the front. But yea, it would be for the bike in my SIG... but I want to stay with the 21" front and put either the Fatboy or deluxe front fender over it.... just not sure how it would look on an FX front end.
