Question 3D tins!!!

Hey forum, I posted awhile ago about getting new tins for my 06 FatBoy. I just seen an 05 FatBoy with 3D effect embossed flames on the tank and fenders. The way it was painted looked awesome. When did they come out with these? Are they obsolete now? Anyone else see these tins on a FatBoy? If they were still available, would anyone consider putting these tins on your bike? Thanks for any replies...

My next winters mods list consists of new tins, stretched fenders, both of them and a 3-d paint job. The bike itself will be painted like any other paint job but I have plans of adding 3-d effect to my bike too. Mum's on the word of what it going to be though. Not sure how it will work or look so I have to wait until then to actually see what it looks like. I have seen few instances of 3-d but nothing ever from the factory. Pictures would be cool if anyone has any.

Has anyone ever seen these 3D embossed tank and fenders? Just curious when they actually came out and when they became obsolete. Also if this is a numbered set meaning if they only made a certain amount then stopped. Thanks again...Ray...

That is some amazing work. The only downside I see is re-sale. Someone with the same taste as you will be the only ones to buy it. Swapping out tins isn't that big a deal I suppose, but is a consideration.

Hey forum, sorry to repost this thread. The first one I posted got off track a bit. I just wanted to know if anyone seen these HD flame embossed tins set before from the mo. co. Were they a numbered series? And when did they go obsolete? I wish I knew about these years ago. This particular pic in the post looks awesome. Anyone ever see these tins? I have only seen one so far on a FatBoy. And the pic in my post. Thanks ...BTW. Thanks to Jim for posting the other style embossed tins..
