Default DFO on my train

Does this look like a DFO? I took my bike in to my local shop so they could install the Big Radius Pipes and a DFO as stated on the reciept. I was installing my Skull gauge this weekend so when I removed the seat I saw this. Does any one have this on their bike?

This is a Cobra Fi2000 Series Digital Fuel Processor...I recognized it from using it on my Honda VTX machines. I am not sure, butI think that the DFO you are speaking of is a RevTech system. I use a PCIII (DynoJet) on my new FLSTF.You can check out the Cobra unit athttp://www.fi2000r.com/page.php?section=28.

I cannot debate the differences between the two systems, but aftermarket controllers are discussed on this forum many, many times. My PCIII eliminates the O2 sensors whereas the Fi2000 looks like it leaves them in the loop.I have always had good luck with the Cobras on my VTX's, but went with the PCIII because of popularity with the new 96 HD and my local dealer is a certified DynoJet Tuner.Anyway, I hope that thishelps youget started to find the answersthatyou need.

Good luck...

Steve

Not a DFO,may be the cobra unit as stated above. Don't really knowanything about the cobra unit. I know there are a lot of guys on here who use and like the DFO's, so if they are better units, and that's what you paid for, then you probably will want to call the dealer and ask them why the product on the bike is not the one on the receipt. But then again, if the bike is running good, you may not want to bother. Either way, learn about whichever unit you end up keeping so you will know all its capabilities, etc.

Cobra for sure. Check www.cobrausa.com for more info. Good unit if you have fairly light mods.

The DFO is sold by RevTech as mentioned by SCEJ8 above. Similar in capability to the Cobra and is actually a clone of the TFI manufactured by Dobeck Performance/Techclusion. More info here: http://www.dobeckperformance.com/

I havea DFO and like it. It has an accelerator pump function that you can tell makes a big difference when that pot comes on. Looking at the Cobra site, it looks like their unit doesn't have that function.
