Even thaw I ride a Ultra the reason I cam here is by a search. I am very interested in your findings. When I am packed up for a rode trip the bike, hack, gear and I you are looking at at least 1,600 pounds. I am working on getting the parts to build a low to mid torque monster motor. But she is still running well with only 98,000 on the clock.
Thanks
Jeff
Then you'd probably like to know that I also have one on my 2001 Screaming Eagle Road Glide. It is a 5-speed (that runs at higher rpm's on the highway) and my wife & I rode 2-up with all of our luggage on our 4200 round trip to Milwaukee for the 110th. We rode through snow in the Rockies and 105* heat from the Badlands through South Dakota. Loaded down cruising at 75-85 in that heat sure put that 95" motor through it's paces. My Wards fan worked as advertised. I'm sure loaded down like that I would have smoked the motor. As it was, I had Badlands HD check it out and add some oil on the way back as it got really hot. Can't imagine how it would have gone without the fans. if anything, it can't hurt a fully loaded down bike. Appearantly, the MoCo has similar thoughts with their new cooling system. HTH!
I bought a Lenale fan last month, the thing works great and makes a difference .......... made well too............ $229.00 shipped on E-Bay and comes with a horn relocation bracket..... I love it.
Been running Wards Parks Werks Fans on my TG for over a year. Last summer we went to the Arctic Circle. Rode thru 110* temps, rain, snow, hail, calcium chloride dust, & lots of gravel and dirt roads. The still work as well today as when I installed them.
I just installed one of LeNale Engineering new 2014 new design cooling fan and was ammazed at how much power this small fan produced. I had bad luck with several of the twin fans on the market and the original Harley parade fan, so when my buddy, who had a LeNale fan on his bike since 2005 recommended it, I decided to give it a try. I have a powervision on my bike and let me tell you that the temperature dropped within minutes of turning on the fan. It really paid for itself last wekend when I got stuck in traffic on Rt. 81 during construction. Everyone else except me had to to get off the road until the traffic cleared. When I heard that LeNale Engineering had a booth at the All American Harley dealership bike show I rode there just to thank him. Did not get to meet him, but got to talk to a very sexy girl that turned out to be his daughter-in-law.

I have asked this question in the Power Vision section with out any help so I am going to ask here. What temps does your PV show on a 90 degree day at highway speeds 65 to 70 MPH once warmed up?
Thanks
Jeff
I now have put over 36K miles on my bike using the LeNale Cooling fan and let me tell you that it really works great. We rode for two days to Sturgis in pouring rain and the LeNale Fan ran without a flaw. One of my friend installed Wards Parks Werks Fans on his Deluxe Softail and after 5K miles the extra weight and harmonic vibration from the fans being so far off center caused the rubber mounting bracket to fail. This was the same problem I had when I purchased the Love Jugs twin fans and almost caused an accident when the fans fell off at 60 MPH.
Here is a good news story. We went to the Colonial Beach Bike fest last weekend that was hosted by All American Harley Davidson and ran into LeNale Engineering who had a booth set up at the All American Harley tent. My friend that was with me told the LeNale owner (Len) about his problem with the twin fan he purchased and Len gave him a free fan and had it installed right on the spot by All American Harley. When we asked him about other products, all he said was that he was in business for 10 years and the test of time weeds out products that don't work.
We have tried the fans from the people that make the dual fans such as Jason Wards model, but did'n have too much success. Too much vibration caused the fans to shake apart. We ended up with a LeNale Engineering fan that has worked perfectly during the last year. It is funny that the people bragging up a fan are not customers, but the people trying to sell their junk. Before you buy a fan, check to see who sells through Harley dealers. LeNale is the only one we found.
I don't buy squat from hd unless really stuck...I don't send good money after bad...
Wards looks like a well engineered and fairly priced option. Less heat on these beasts are a good thing...
