Fork and tree question
So I'm starting to put together my ft end again (many issues up to this point)
When I put. The fork thru the upper tree and begin to tighten it the fork spins
So the flat edge moves away from the outside position ,does this matter ?
The bolts that go thur it only hold down the tins and aren't long enough to hit the flat spot anyways is this a issue ?
Should I make sure that. Flat spot faces out and get longer bolts so they actually
Hit it ? I assume its to prevent the forks from rotating?
The original ft end also had short bolts that didnt reach the flat spot
Oh ya it's a 20003 softail standard that I'm putting a 2000 fatboy ft end on
Thanks in advance for ANY assistance
I gotta get this thing together and ride ,I haven't been out once this year
