Default Roll bag or wind shield

I was curious if anyone has any experience with high wind turbulence and has solved the problem with a handlebar roll bag? I hear a decent size roll bag like the kuryakyn custom will help reduce the feeling of the "human parachute" and death wobble at high speeds. I was also looking at the 1/4 fairings for the same problem but I'm not sure I'd would do much more the a giant bag up front. Anyone with high wind experiences that can provide insight into minimizing turbulence on a night train would be appreciated.

Interesting. I'll look forward to hearing the answers on this one.

I do know a giant roll bag doesn't usually look so great on the Hollywood bars of a Slim. But, neither does a windshield IMHO. So might as well put something up there that is useful.

On longish rides... I keep a flannel or a blanket rolled up and strapped to my bars.

Cuts just enough wind to prevent the meat parachute thing from happening. I thought about getting a roll bag (had a couple in the garage to try)... but they're all made so big I thought they look stupid.

Picture if you care...

The t-shirt goes over my fat gut when I ride... it doesn't stay on the tank.

I appreciate the feedback. The roll bag will definitely add to my storage capability since I do not have saddle bags, but will not help the look of the bike. I guess in the long run who cares as long as the functionality outweighs the looks. Thanks for your help guys.
