I bought my bike several months ago and everyone kept saying "let's ride" I have discovered that they meant ride to the next bar and sit for a few hours. Ask em to ride a few hours away and they are like "new we are just gonna ride around here."
So, do a majority of people ride or bar hop?
I'd never drink and ride so it's ride all day for me.

learned a long time ago booze and scoots is a bad mix. Now my buddies hate me cuz I dont ride and drink, to f'n bad. I ride sun up sun down. do I drink? hell yes! but when the riding is over. ride safe!
... which is more than enough to make you DWI unless you are 500lbs+ and consume great amounts of food at the same time. 1 beer/mixed drink or glass of wine per hour will put most people over the legal limit of .08.
If it's not flooding, I'm riding. I quit drinking years ago, but my uncle always told me you never have more beers than wheels...don't know if it applies to 18 wheelers though.
I don't understand drinking alcohol knowing you will be riding. It's not like you can a designated rider. Even when I used to drink, I wouldn't drink if I'm on my bike. I always try to be extra alert when riding, the last thing I need is a beer buzz.
