I know a few that have done the reverse of this and some softail owners dislike the bobtail fenders, but I for one think they are awesome as hell. Looks great on there!
Def makes the bike look tougher to me. I know you have a bitch load of chrome on there but I think blacking out your forks would really make it look killer.
Looks good, but then I'm a fan as far as fenders are concerned of less is best,remember seeing an actual Harley ad years ago where they did the same thing.

I think that combination looks .. Japanese .. .. I am sorry, the FatBoy/Heritage/Deluxe are very hard to have bobtailed... maybe something like the Slim is what you are afte.r
