just ordered the vance and hines twin slash 3 inch slip ons as well as the power vision tuner and hi flow air filter .... can't wait for it to come in....anyone else used the power vision ?
I put it on mine last weekend. Originally bought the PCV, but after looking at what it takes to put the PCV on in comparison to just hooking the Vision up ... I was sold!
Worked with Brian at Fuel Moto. He let me send the PCV back and get the Vision.
Must say ... I LOVE the vision.
The custom map that Fuel Moto gave me has worked great. I've run the "auto tune" multiple times (basic using the stock O2) and it hasn't moved the fuel adjustments at all.
Wanted the V&H 2-into-1, but they apparently discontinued it between the time I ordered it on Friday and it was processed on Monday.
Instead, I went with the 2-into-2.
I wasn't willing to wait till the end of June / beginning of July for the Breakout pipes, so I ordered the Rocker C pipes with the Bassani 18m to 12m O2 adapters.
No issues at all.
Those 2 into 2 sweeping pipes are awsome looking but way loud.... I opted for the twin slash slip ons but I would have loved to have gone with the full 2 into 2 pipes ... any pics ?
FWIW, the '12-13 Softail V&H BR 2-2 (#26059) fit the '13 breakout perfectly...and do not need any adaptors for the O2 bungs. There are many folks who have used this setup with great results.
Wished I'd known this before buying the rocker c pipes. Only reason is then I'd not have had to use the O2 adapters and the factory O2 sensors could sit down into the pipe more (maybe pick up more "data").
Oh well ... everything seems to be working good as is.
Go to Spacer Jims and get a I inch spacer to raise the handlebars up and back eliminating the clamshell position and providing a more conventional comfortable position without changing anything else! http://www.spacerjim.com/
I'm still trying to figure out how you mod a Breakout, when they're already awesome to start with...at least they are to me.
I am really thinking about getting a red Breakout and already have a list of mods.
-Powdercoat black front end, rear fender supports, primary, rear signal housings, speed bucket
-replace grips, clutch/front brake lever
-replace tank console with one from Blackline if it fits.
-new black forward controls
-new pipes (black)
-seat mostly a LePara
-LED signal light
-Shotguns
-AirCleaner
-maybe RSD rockerbox and timing cover
-maybe LED Headlight
-maybe highway/crash bar
I am sure I cancome up with a few other things if given some time.
