Now that I'm all bagged up. I'm real pleased with the outcome, and as I've said elsewhere, I have the option of have the Batwing fitted or not, depending on my mood.
I've already been through the whole thing about which Aped will or wont fit with a Batwing, and came to the conclusion that to go with apes, they would have to be Bagger apes which have a sort of bend in them low down to allow clearance of the fairing and stereo.
Question is ....has anyone seen or maybe can link to some pics... a bike with Bagger apes without a Batwing fitted. I need to know what it would look like as its a big job ..
so it needs to look right with the apes... with and without the fairing.
Here is a link that talked about its well. Gangster apes or la chopper bagger apes look the best without fairing on. I have had straight apes, la chopper bagger and now am using the gangster apes. Only issue with the la chopper apes was the overall width and wrist angle did not work well for me.
