New tires-help me decide
Heading out west in late July on a 3 week tour & I need new tires before I go. I'll be riding my 09 Night Train with that big,fat 200/55R17 rear tire which on average gets about 5000k on it( Dunlop,Metzeler,Mich.Comm. II). This year I'm thinking of spending a little more jack & getting the Avon Colbra's....but will it be worth it? $225.00 for the rear. Or just stick with the Commander II's -$165.00 for the rear. The Commander II's are a very comfortable riding tire but I'm looking for more milage & I'm thinking the Avon's may provide that....what do you Train guys think?
