just traded my '03 low rider(missing it already) for a 2013 breakout......really want to move license plate bracket from the side to rear fender. any ideas or info to do this is needed. thanks for the help.
Canadian versions of the Breakout came with a rear license plate setup - stock - that mounts under the rear fender. Not sure of the part number, but I know it's an actual Harley part.

I don't like the sid mount either but wouldn't think you'd want to hide that beautiful 240 rear tire.
I have the canadian version and I have to say that when ordering my bike I was wanting the U.S.A version side mount but after seeing the rear mount with the small fender extension on my bike , I have come to really like it now .. Another member here who I am guessing lives in the States asked where I got it from as well as he said all sorts of crap comes off the back wheel and onto his fender .... Check with the dealer as you should be able to have them order the kit ... I know I could have had My Ontario dealer order the side mount U.S version kit but like I said ,,, I love the rear mount now...
I can't find my copies but the part numbers are listed in the 2013 softail book at the dealer. But the part is listed at $110 didn't check on the taillight price at the time.
thanks nicky pass and all the other hints. maybe try to mount bracket to a sissy bar if I find one. freespace, soon as I move my bracket,i'll let the sidemount go...........thanks again to all.

Not sure if I've got this straight. You breakouts come with the plate already at the side and you want to move it to the rear of the fender? One word....Don't....over here they come like that standard first time we saw one there was 5 of us and we were all in agreeance that it was the first thing that had to go...second thing was the std footpegs.. love them otherwise.
