The bare bones isn't a touring seat. As the name implies, it's basically a pad, thin padding, and cover. It's the one on my bike in my sig pic. Basically it's there for looks. Once I lost a bit of weight and some padding, I could only do about 150 miles before I was done. The sundowner is comfy though. I haven't had much experience with other brands, but I do know that my dad really enjoys Corbin seats.

I love my Corbin seat. Have used the Sundowner and the Badlander, but Corbin won out in my book.
Loved the comfort of the Sundowner but just couldn't do that to my bike, as the look of it on the Deuce ruins everything about it being a sleek bike.
By the way, both seats I mentioned above are for sale

I don't have any problem with the stock Deuce bars on the road. I have mine pulled back some. But I think the best looking bar on a Deuce is the T-bar. Just never went with the change.

Cheap and easy solution might be to keep the bars and risers but put at leat a 1" riser extension underneath. This will bring the bars up and slightly closer to you (because of the fork and riser angle). Also a mustang seat that pushes you slightly forward may also help. You just need to find a setup that keeps your shoulders more "square" rather than "rounded" from reaching.
Good Luck!!

I put the HD 'Reach' bars on my Deuce. They come back about 1 1/2" and it helped to relieve the pain between my shoulder blades and neck pain. I use a Sundowner when my wife rides with me. It's much more comfortable for both of us, but I like the look of the stock seat much better.

Last year I picked up a Corbin Gunfighter and Lady with one backrest. I find that it's pretty comfortable, but really don't like the look of it much. It appears really thick when viewed from the side, which is probably why it's comfortable. But I think the look is fugly.

And that's why I have three seats. The bare bones is for shorter trips and looking good, the stocker is for shorter trips with the girlfriend, and the Sundowner is for longer trips solo or two up.

I plan on hitting up a show or two this summer and entering my Deuce. You best bet it will have the bare bones on it for that.

Hey Deucedog
Looks like you took those silver bullet aux lights off. What bracket did you use for those? Ive been trying all kinds of different ways, and cant seem to get them as high as I want
