Got the remainder of my backordered parts from KutterHD last week. Here's pix of the stock parts. I'm glad I ordered when I did (Unlike my order for Bassani pipes that keeps getting pushed back.).

Do you have to do anything special to make it work? I have managed to find everything for my sissy bar except for the docking hardware and I am being told it is backordered until October...

My Harley dealer pieced out the mounting hardware for me, the only thing that wasn't available was the spacers for the recessed holes in the fender struts. A little trial and spacing led me to 3/8 chrome spacers that were 1/4 in length ( in stock at HD ). Fits great and can't tell the difference from actual kit.

My setup does not work for two-up riding, and I'm near the brink of trading up to something else if I can't get this figured out. If you look closely at the pics I've attached, it looks like the backrest is forward about two inches into the passenger seat, following a line down from the front of the back pad. If I can get a bar/backpad combo that is offset to the rear of the bike, it might save me from unloading the bike altogether (even though I have serious bagger fever right now). I thought I saw something for the Duece where the backrest mount actually slips under the back passenger pillion, it looks like that might work. Anyone else recall that?
FLDime, if you're reading this I sent you a PM, interested in how you got yours set up.

Default back rest

Look at the pictures, mine seems to be in the same place, seat shaped different. Back rest pad is HD #51640-06

You wouldn't happen to have part numbers for all the pieces would you?

The more I look at pics of riders trying to set up a Breakout for passenger and travel, the more I am thinking of trading my BO in for a bagger. I love this bike as a solo or bar hopper but honestly? Changing handlebars as 2 hours into a ride and my neck is killing me. Decent size passenger pillion and sissy bar and the bike looks like crap. Real luggage size bags and the bike looks bloated. Anyone else coming to this conclusion?

Yeah. I totally agree. This bike is not meant to be spoiled with huge saddle bags, sissy bars, fairings etc. But I think it's not meant do be used for long trips or travel anyway.

As for passengers...if you happen to have an OL being used to ride 2-up on sports bikes she probably won't complain. If she does I would rather think about getting a bike for her than trading in mine...

yup!!!! Actually kept both for awhile, in the process of selling mine to a private buyer just last night. Had a few nice days here recently and took both out for a spin, and the bagger wins each time I head into the garage to make the decision, even for a solo ride.
