I meant no disrespect when I used the term "Mexican". That's what I know them as. I work with a guy Jesus, we call him Rudy and I have no idea why, and we talk **** every day. I showed him those pictures today about the Mexicans with those boots on, he laughed his azz off then commented how ridiculous they look. He likened them to our, what we know as hillbillies, Mexican hillbillies! Also, I never seen a Mexican till I was 16 years old on a trip, a family vacation to Texas. Where I grew up there were the Italians, the irish, Jews, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Pollocks and Hillbillies. I won't knock a race, I'm a" Ukrainian Hillbilly"! I got room to talk about anyone? I think not. Yes, back on subject. I love the style too, I loved it before I knew there was a term for it! Yes, it will also different, mine. Its also like I said, I'm gonna stick with my 16's wheels so I don't know what that will be called. I guess I really don't care! I will probably always stay with spokes too. Us 16" wheel guys don't have no where near the wheels to chose from like the 18" and 21" wheels do. I also agree, we are all Brothers in Riding. I can't hardly think of anyone here I wouldn't ride with anytime, anywhere. Ya know, if 10, 15 guys from here that all got voted as top 15 bikes, then all get together and go riding in a town near anyone, a bike show, bike or swap meet and the likes. I think those 10 or 15 guys would get a lot of attention and have a lot of fun. That would be awesome and make for many conversations and comments here too.

I like the look of a lot of bikes in this thread. I always worry that if I extended the exhaust that it will have problems in dips, uneven pavement, and crossing all of the speed bumps here.

I love that I was one of the first in my area with this style. I have had lowriders for the last 17 years so naturally I built a Vicla. And I smash the **** out of my bike, you don't have to be careful unless your scared to scrape your pipes like a bitch lol

I was a little bitch when I first got my cholos (39"), until after the FIRST scrape. After that it don't hurt so much and I don't pucker up as bad.

I ride a lot in the west burbs (elgin-hanover park area) and the city and i have not seen any that look even close. I have the mini cholos and peeps are like whoa!! those are some long A** pipes. Could only imagine if they saw the 39's or 42's....Definitely get some people staring and i dont even have my 21/16 wheel set up yet...Good choice with the so-cal vicla style. Its def. one of kind in the midwest.

Did you just recently paint your bike? I always noticed it before but thought it was black or green... IIRC.

Post s'more pictures.

I used to cross the border. Its not a phoenomina or science, its my daily life. Lifes a risk carnal, live it up and ride.
Yo, carnal, Chicano is the right word in the Southwest.
