Default 2013 Blackline first mods done.

Bars. Levers. Exhaust. Fork covers. Tail light and plate holder. And removed a lot of stuff.

Not too sure about the plate cover just because it takes away from the fender paint. I think just a simple vertical side mount and a black Sparto taillight would be cool, but that's just me and if you like it then right on!

I'm actually going to change the rear fender out for a tighter fitting one and paint it black when I get a new rear wheel over the winter. I want the tank to pop. And everything else compliment it.

Looks awesome.
If you want something else to take off, pull the little silver stickers off the brake calipers.

Looking good man. Wish I had waited one more year for the big flake paint, but I love my '12 Blackline. New bars make all the difference!

Nice job! I like the idea of a black rear fender. That gold fleck tank is so cool.

Like you, I took as many things as possible off my bike. Looking at your picture how about taking off:

- Passenger pegs
- Stickers on frame
- Plastic rear fender guard (see my thread here)
- Chain guard (or did you already?)

The chain guard is gonna go. I am leaving the passenger pegs because my girl rides with me from time to time. I wouldn't mind some "quick release" style pegs. Stickers are in the process of coming off. And I am looking through your thread now.

UPDATE:
I just ordered the new splash guard. I'll do the same thing you did and powdercoat it black. Thanks for the suggestion!

You bike is proof that sometimes, less is more. +1 on blacking out the rear caliper.

I wouldn't change the rear fender. It looks great. You could lower the rear some, yes, but keep the fender as-is.

Nice work!!
