Default Dyna Beads Question

Installing these in some fatspoke rims so I don't want to use regular weights.

Front is 120/70 21 (with tube).
Rear is 150/80 16 (No tube)

Website says 1oz for front and 2oz for rear.

Those that have the same setup...does this sound right??

Thanks.

I ordered a 21 inch wheel for my deluxe from hog pro and rep told me 1 ounce but that 2 ounces work better. I ordered some dyna beads and recieved them already. Now I'm just waiting on my wheel to arrive. Everyone on the forum swear that it is the best way to go. Put in search bar, 21x3.0, that's the thread I started and comments of guys that use dyna beads.

I have a 21" on my deuce front wheel. Not fat spoke tho. I put 3oz in because I had weights on them that actually fell off. They were to fat for my skinny wheel. I love the dyna beads. It is smoother now then with the weights. From what I hear 1oz does the job for everyone. But you can always add more if that isn't enough. Just remember they don't really work till over 35mph..

They sent me 4oz of beads but according to their sizing chart I should only need 1oz for the front (120/70 21 tubed fatspoke) and 2oz for rear (150/80 16 tubeless).

Wasn't sure if the 21x3.5 fatspoke made a difference when compared to reg 21 inch rim. Only one place around here uses the beads and they are money sharks. People they had answering phones didn't know what they were and had to ask other workers and then they want to charge me $30 for the beads and $30 to install. $60 bucks. Told them hell no and that I could get off website for $25 and it included the bottle and tube.

Good to hear.
I actually had an indie talk me into using those in a new Michelin Commander II rear tire last year, but I ended up trading that bike in on my Softail only about a week later, so I never really got a chance to find out.

I have no personal experience with them but a buddy at work just put them in his Sporty build and he loves them, swears by them. Next time I have to mess with wheels or tires for any reason I am going to go to them in my bike. Also, I didn't know they didn't work until you hit 35 mph. How does that work? What if you have a low speed wobble, if there is such a thing?

I have had them in since march. Its been since then that I have read about them and I have been known to be wrong. Only when I pay extra attenion to my front wheel do I notice it "whobbling" alil under 35mph but never have issue at low speeds.

I have them in my Street Glide and love them. (they came already in the wheels when I upgraded to chrome) I'm running a 21" front and 17" rear. No wobble, no bounce, nothing. I'll use them on my Breakout eventually.

That sounds right but we like 2oz's in a 120/70/21 better than one ounce.
