Dyna Beads Question

I went a different direction. I went with a product called Ride On. I am very happy as I had about 4.5 oz of lead weights stuck to my rear tire. Now nothing but ride on.

How do Dyna Beads work? On my 80 spoke 130/60-21 I had to have a 1.75 ounce weight to balance. How can Dyna Beads balance the wheel with only 1 ounce? It seems you would want/have to put in the same weight in Dyna Beads that would be required if using a metal weight. Or am I missing something?
