Cool totally confused

had to drop 2002 heritage off at dealer yesterday the speedo, odometer, turn signals and check engine light all quit while riding around in the country. when I would come to a stop the bike also wanted to stall had to keep it running giving it gas till light changed. when I dropped it off he tried to do a diagonistic by pushing trip button and turning on switch at the same time, even that didn't work. any ideas.

Check the crank position sensor down by the oil filter. Make sure the connector is tight. When that goes bad the ECM doesn't know what is going on and will do all kinds of strange things.

Bad connection at the computer. Or a bad ground.

I had the exact same problem and it turned out to be bare wires under the front fender going to my front fender light. It would happen randomly mainly during turns from stop to start.

Check battery cables, make sure they are clean and tight, This can also be caused by shorted fender tip lites, usually on the rear or speed sensor. Also if you have a tuner installed in line with the ECM, unplug it. Perform a wiggle test on the ECM connections. After that, it's a step at a time.

I'm also inclined to believe your stalling issues could be related to the Speed Sensor. Keep us updated.
