I ordered a 21x3.0 ,chrome regular 80 spoke wheel for my softail deluxe. I'm having a lil trouble deciding in which balancing weights to go with, spoke weights or sticky weights. Want to hear from you guys, what weights do you use on your 21 inch regular spoke wheel. Thanks in advance and ride safe!
The indy I took my wheel to, said he never uses weights and never had a problem. Didn't run any on mine either and it's been perfect. Be open to the idea that you may not need them in the first place.
I've used spoke weights on my 18"s and now on my 21".
It sort of pissed me off last week when I took in a 21" to have a tire mounted and balanced. I go to pick it up and the guy tells me they don't have spoke weights and they just identified the amount and location of the necessary weight. Since I paid for a balancing, I expected the appropriate weight to be included in the price.
