Getting ready to buy one for my 07 heritage.ive searched to no end and found nothing but good things about the brake light. Since I have almost been hit from behind twice its time to try the brighter light. Anyone have any problems with theirs?
Hey Sal,
I have one on my '07 Heritage and love it. I especially like when someone totally backs off like marbles were being thrown at them. You won't go wrong - I also put on the HD LED turnsignals this year...they work real well together - especially at night.

Aside from being crazy bright, they also have several flash patterns. I run with the highly visible "strobe twice then brake light on" mode. My only concern is it's not DOT-compliant, and some day I'll get a ticket for it. But I've seen cop bikes with the same light and flash mode. In the meantime, I'll remain easy to see for those behind me.
I take it when the brake is not on and just the tail light it is also alot brighter than the non led.also from what I've read you can adjust the brightness of the tailight also.is this correct.
Brightness level... and flashing pattern settings... are adjustable using a small, powerful magnet they supply you, that you touch to a designated spot on the lamp. At it's lowest brightness setting, it is about the same as the stock lamp.

I've had mine for around 3 years now. So far I have not had anybody try to run up my pipe. I always watch my mirror at stops and make sure to operate the brake a couple of times before the car gets to me. It's amazing how much room they give me now....lol
As far as a ticket I've had the NC Highway Patrol, Sheriff dept and city cops stop behind and beside me at lights and so far no problem. Been in a few different states and no trouble there.
