Default Changed rear Mustang pad

I changed out the rear pad on my Mustang seat.
I like the skinny one better for looks when riding solo (and somebody could still ride it if need be).
I'll be riding solo about 99.99% of the time.
Then it would only take one fender screw to put the big pad back on for duel riding.
(about a 1 minute change over)

For now, I like it better than a Fender Bib, just my personal opinion.
The seat to me doesn't look "out there all by itself" with a pad on the back.

Here's the new Skinny Pad:

and here's the old Fat Pad:

Better picture to follow (the sun wasn't at the right angle this moring for proper pictures).

That looks a lot better.I just ordered that same seat for my 06 NT. I hope the rear seat doesnt look too big on the bike. How do you like the seat?

I think it looks great! Is the pad made by Mustang?

Sea Flea: How do I like the seat?I like it just fine, I rodeover a couple of hours on Monday and no numb butt. The stock seat was hard after 20 minutes of riding before. Seams to be good right out of the box. I was wondering about the Corbin, but even Corbin says it has to be broken in a couple thousand miles. 2,000 miles? Come on !!

DMSC: How's the fit without the pillion being bolted to the solo? Not sure what you mean here, but the solo fits fine without the pillon. The skirt around the seatmatches the fender very close.

Tail 11: Is the pad made by Mustang?Yes it's a Mustang. The rear pad has a tounge in the front of it, that slides into the back of the front solo seat. I ordered directly from them because of the different size fender on the '07 so there was no mix up and paid no state sales tax, and $1 shipping for some reason. It was in stock and came in about 4 days.

like that set up. I got the Mustang solo too, and the fat seat too. It is kinda big. I have a bib on the fender right now but will look into the thin seat.

Hey So Cal,

From the looks of their web site it doesn'tlook like they even go together, butthey do.
It's not only skinny (thiner), but it's only 6" wide.
It matches up real nice to the front seat too.
The part number for mine was 76385.

You seat must be different than my Wide Studded Solo. My pillion bolts to the solo seat.

I guess yours is made to be quick detachable?

Yes it's just got a tongue that slips into the front.

Here's the Mustang installationpage for mine.
