Need some help. I bought an 06 heritage softtail the FLSTI and having problems finding accserorries like seats. It had an aftermarket seat on when i bought it and im not crazy about it. At least not for every day riding. Looking for a lower profile seat. Maybe just a solo seat for im riding alone. However when looking for seats i dont see any options for 06 flsti will the flstc or flstn seats fit ? This is my first harley. Love it!
Lots and lots of choices. I went with the Mustang, but it's not very low profile. LePera makes some nice low profiles as well as C&C. I wouldn't sell that big *** pillow you have there that's on it. Might be nice if you're doing some distance riding.
yes, flstn and flstc will fit. in 2006 the FXST, FXSTB and FLSTF wont fit from 2006 and later. prior to 2006 just about any twin cam softail seat will fit your bike.
FLSTF changed in 07, 200mm rear tire, wider and shorter rear fender, 96", 6 speed...
CandC solo is a good low profile seat. Sits you back and lower. Its in my sig pic below. The seat in your pic looks comfy for 2up but looks like it may push you forward also. I prefer to be back and lower. For 2up the HD Sundowner works great - sits you back and lower. They come up often used and are not too expensive new.
Congrats on the bike! Nice extras - pipes, passenger foot boards, crash bar...
Thanks guys! Ya I was pretty stoked when I picked it up. Had pass floorboards with guards, screaming eagle slipons, mustache engine guard, windshield, stage one air cleaner, custom seat, quick release sissy bar and locking/ removable saddlebags. And only 7000 miles!!!! Picked it up for just under $11,000 from local dealer.
Right now I'm just enjoying being on 2 wheels again but looking to start making it mine. Cruising catalogs constantly for ideas.
