Engine light bc of missing turn signal??
will a burnt out bulb make the red engine light in the speedo come on? I have a blackline that i took all the blinkers off and just as a get it done quick solution I wired a single brake light to the stock wire that provides running light brake light and turn signal to what is normally the right side rear light. when I pull the brake lever or use my rear brake after about 1 second the light comes on and goes out as soon as i release. is this because the computer thinks the right side light is burnout?

I'm guessing the computers electronics are mad they aren't getting the right signals. I don't know about the brake lights but when my headlight bulb went out it triggered a fault code or something that caused the little red security light to come on and stay on. It was actually handy for me since I knew I needed to stop on the way home to get a new bulb. With these newer systems you can't make too many wiring changes without messing something up. How to fix it I couldn't tell you but I'm 100% sure that the wiring changes you made are causing the light to come on
The security light on my '09 blinks when I use the turn signals after I switched the front ones to LEDs. Sets codes for front turn signal circuit problem. I'm sure I could wire in a resistor of some kind to fix this.
