Regulator Vandalism
Had someone/s cut me Voltage regulator connection (Deutsch Connecter 2 pin) from the battery side.
Thought that if I just make a straight connection with butt connectors it would be allright.
No so, when I did this it blew the Main Fuse straight away!
When I disconnect the two wires it still blows fuse (wires stripped but not touching anything).
When I cut regulator wire from battery side clean without wires showing, the fuse does not blow!
What am I missing?
Oh, I'll handle the vandals after my rides right again.

Wanted to not leave this open ended.
1st Thanks to the Forum and it's members for all the tips in regards to this issue as well as other items gleaned from you all.
Also a shout out to the "Garage Co." her in L.A.
Marty is a Good Wrench and got me back on the road in no time!
If your in L.A. and you want to see some killer Rides, stop by and check them out.
This place is as much a Museum as it is a working Shop!
Turns out Stator shorted to Ground.
If I had taken her to Shop 1st off would of saved $140!
I do my own wrenching, but electrical................. well
