Can I swap the tins from a 2008 Heritage Softail to a 2005 Fatboy Anniversary model?
Would they pretty much bolt up without any serious modifications?

Both are injected models.

Any and all help would be appreciated.

 

I don't have a good answer for you... but with the major changes to the Softail in 2007... I sincerely doubt the tank or rear fender would just swap.

 

The fenders will swap out with no problem. I'm not sure about the tank. I think they changed the internals of the tank in 08. Maybe if you can get the fuel pump and other internals, it would fit. Hopefully someone will chime in about the tank.
