What cable lengths would I need to go with otherwise? I currently have an aftermarket handlebar (LA choppers 1.5" big bad something or other... It's the one with a little sweep giving a little extra pullback and lift). I currently have a lot of slack in everything except the brake line (I didn't route everything through the tree like they came stock) but I'm considering spacers still and would definitely need to upgrade the brake line.

The dilemma here is that the speedo is built into the top riser. These factory risers and handlebar are also 1.25".

My first thought was to put Fatboy lower risers with the Breakout upper. This will not work. The Fatboy risers use larger diameter bolts, and are also too wide to fit. The sides would stick out past the Breakout upper, and also there is a tab that hangs down on the Breakout upper that interferes with the Fatboy lowers. No way to make this work and look decent without heavy machine work.

Next thought was to use the lowers from a CVO Breakout as they have short risers. This also will not work as the CVO has the speedo built into the bottom mount, and the top is just a cap. You could use the entire thing(upper and lower risers), but the price is ridiculous.

Does anyone else have any ideas for a 1.25" riser bottom that would work? Or any other suggestions for getting lower risers on this bike?

I don't really want to relocate the speedo as I have yet to see a place that I think it looks clean.

I know this is an OLD thread and I apologize for commenting on here but seeing your breakout 24v has inspired me!!! I love those apes. I just have a few questions. I know you went with the cvo risers but I also realized you have a blackline dash on your bike. I have the stock dash. Do you think the speedo will clear with cvo risers? Also those 14" apes look taller if you're 5'10". I'm 5'8" and measured myself on the bike and I thought maybe 16" bars would be right. How tall are the cvo risers? I am planning on going with carlini pist apes like yours. Are those bars 1.25 diameter all the way through? Or would I need an adapter? Please any advise would help!!! Thanks

Does anyone know the part number to the black fender supports on the cvo breakout?

Default Really?

I'm so glad you enlightened me! But while we are being rude, I guess anytime anyone goes off topic with I like your bike we should remind them you can only compliment risers here..... I saw a pic on here while looking for info about my risers and a guy has black fender supports and it was a hope since he is in this room he would see this post.... but again thanks for rudely correcting me and exercising your fingers... next time you want to just exercise them, I can think of a few better ways that don't involve others.

Your welcome. Wasn't trying to be rude. Just thought it was common sense.

Not sure if anyone has mentioned them yet, i did not filter through each page. Thunderbike has the lower risers that look like the CVO breakout lowers, but without the speedo cup. They're $199 I think? A little steep, but I think this would allow you to use your stock upper clamp still.

Yep...mentioned a couple of times already. I have them installed on my scoot, they work great for me with 1'' riser spacers.

Cool, sorry for the repeat then. This was something that I was thinking about doing as well. Glad that it worked out for you!

You might be good to go w/o the riser spacers. I know that user Nostradamus74 did w/o any issues even using the stock bars. When my dealer installed them risers first w/o the spacers the switch housings were touching the tank both handlebars turned left or right. As I still use the stock bars I then had to install the spacers.
