Yes it is. If I can't find a set of lower risers that fit in there I may just have some of that skirt machined off, and then just powdercoat it all black.
Just had another thought. What about one of the move the speedo kits they make for the Sportster? Some use the riser and flip where the speedo is located and some push it to the side. Then there's the hardcore solution. Have a machine shop lower your current risers.

I thought about cutting down the current ones, but there is a bend too far up, so I don't think it would be possible to get them short enough.
If I could find a Sportster riser for cheap enough that looks good I wouldn't be opposed to that. Just haven't found it yet.
I already tried this set of risers, they won't work unles you cut off the stock clamp's skirt.
Yup, I am hoping one of the wideglide replacements from vtwin manufacturing will work. It may be a few weeks before I actually get very far on this, but that is the only solid lead I have so far. Aside from paying $330 for the CVO stuff at the dealer.
