I have a leak at the fuel quick disconnect and pulled it and have a question. Is there supposed to be an o-ring on the connector for the line side or are the orings all in the female side attached to the tank.
I see a ring on the line side connector which looks like it would take an oring but none is present.
Please help as I am just released to ride again after 4 1/2 years down time because of colon cancer and the subsequent 5 operations. I live in MN so there isn't much of a riding season left. If there is supposed to be a oring on the line side -does anyone have the demension or 3rd party part numbers?
Thanks,
Dez

Reason: Messed up title
if the end of the line is flared. then no o-ring. if it is straight and has a lip about 1/4-1/2 inch from the end. then it does take an o-ring. as far as the size. just go to any auto parts store and by an assorted pack and pick one that fits well around the line.
My 2003 has the flared end, so the o-ring is inside the female end. Royal pain in the to replace, but while your at it you might as well replace the in-tank plastic fuel lines.
