Default 02 Fatboy running rough

Hey guys hows it going? I just tore down my fatboy to get a broken shock bolt out of my swingarm. Ordered new shocks, bolts, new rear fender bolt kit, handle bars, ***** G derby cover, inspection plate, points cover, swingarm bushings, blinkers yesterday. I also sent the swingarm and exhaust hanger to the chrome shop Thursday. So should be good to go all the way around. But now I need to address the issue of it seeming to load up w fuel at a blip of the throttle and backfire and what not. I suspect the owner before me put pipes on the bike and didnt have the carb jetted for them. The bike has an Ultima 96c.i. w an S&S carb. Idk which version of the carb it is either.. Any help would be appreciated..
Thank you,
Cameron

I found out the carb is an S&S super "G".. I need to find out how I figure out if its just needing adjusted or needing re-jetted.. Not feeling much love here lol.. I apologize if this isn't the right place to be posting this.

Have you contacted S&S to inquire about what settings the carb should be set at? That would be where I would start- Go back to baseline if you have no idea where it is and make your own adjustments from there. I'm not a motorcycle carb guy, but my experience with auto carbs tells me that the accelerator pump may be out of adjustment. Hope this helps.
