It wasn't any ONE bike that HD produced. Among the manyimprovementslike the Evolution engine and retro-tech design,introducing the Softail, there was alsofinancial backing by Citibank who then pulled out only to bebacked by Heller Capital. HD was also victoriouswhen the Reagan Administration placedtrade tarriffs onthe Japanesemanufacturerswho were out producing HD and flooding the marketwith cheaperproduct.

Whateverhappened, I'vewanted a HD for a verylong time.

NowI'm a proud owner!

I don't think the Fat...Boy...Man...Bob...Bomb saved HD. I think I would give most of the credit to the EVO.

Fatboys, got to love them! 1990 was a good year but the style had been kicking around for a while. AMF save Harley as their money engineered the EVO before the sale to the 13.
