Well they deleted my post about o.j and a few more tid bit's so must play nice! But I love my Fat Boy , I think it's one of best riding and handle's well, i'm not real smart but if you have skinny tire up front and then you put one of the beach ball tire's on back, i'm not going to take it to 80 , ever been in high speed wobble, that's why I like fat on front and rear, it just work's so you don't kill self on highway, just my 2 cent's

if this guys wants a real race go grab a buddies Suzuki GSXRcrotch or even a damn Buell and blow his butt out of the water. You must have been having a badday to react like that, everyone has them but dude, no need to overreact on the internet... everybody is a world champion UFC fighter here. I assumethe dog comment was in relation to his avatar of two pits biting each other, not motorcycle related but most likely pat of his life. If he thinks his nighttrain is "fast" he is dreaming anyway, so leave it be.

Harley has been near death a few times in it's history. When the softail line was introduced in 1984 it brought a whole new market for them. By 1990 Harley was already in recovery mode and needed a modern version to peek the interest of new riders. I remember in December of 1990 you could walk into any dealer and buy a bike off the floor and negotiate your price. I did with my 1991 883 hugger. Over the next few years the Hollywood Harley craze hit and you had to wait up to two years and pay thousands over invoice. I remember I almost traded in my 883 for a Heritage twice, but all the dealers in the area were living fat and happy on the demand for all Harley's. I walked out of three dealers during the 90's because of this. That and the fact I was not going to buy a bike the felt like it was going to fall apart at highway speeds (pre counter balanced engine.)
