After further watching your video, mine is loud but not that loud. Pull your derby cover off the primary and look and make sure the dealer didnt forget to put oil in the primary. If they forgot, your primary chain tensioner is probably ruined and possibly the clutch also. If not that, could be bad crank bearing or balancer system
The primary has oil as I checked it already.
The dealer told me that the noise is "normal" and they aren't going to look at it any further.
So I guess I will live with it. If it is a bad bearing or balancer system hopefully it will break before the warranty expires. You know they say our U.S. economy is a service based economy and not a manufacturing economy any longer. But for this country being such a service based economy it seems that service gets worst as we become more serviced based. Seems odd doesn't it.

Yep it does suck. Change over to synthetic and giv it some more break in time. Hopfully ot will quiet down. When my 2012 lo was new it sounded very loud also. Seem like it got better after some miles
Ask the dealer to show you on another bike the "normal sound" for comparison. If so then you'll know. If not continue to pursue them inspecting it further.

I would say by the video that it is normal, if you get down and listen to them they are noisey...mine is about the same as yours
Thanks for the reply. Do you notice the noise getting louder as the RPM's go up? At 2500 RPM's and over I can hear the noise clearly going down the road.
I have the stock mufflers and no windshield, so when I get above 45 to 50 MPH the wind drowns out the noise the engine is making. What I am concerned about is when I put a windshield on this bike and because the windshield will reflect more noise towards me and I won't have the wind noise to drown out the engine noise. I really don't like to hear all this engine noise especially if it is an abnormal noise. So I am just trying to figure out if the loudness of the noise I am hearing at 2500 RPM's and above is normal or not. If it is normal I will learn to live with it.
if I listen for it I can hear it when going down the road. Put it this way I have changed all the bearings in the primary as well as the compensater and it is still there. So I would say it's normal. I think a lot of it is the chain as there is more strech in some parts of than others. I don't even hear it anymore. My pipes are plenty loud and no windshield either...
