Hey forum, I am almost ready to hand over my extra set of tins to the painter but there is one thing I am undecided on. Thinking on having the stock tail light and license plate holes holes filled in for the smooth rear end look. Right now I am looking for a chrome side mount license plate mount with tail light. My question is and I hope someone can really help me on this is, the stock wiring that is in the rear fender now, how would all that get relocated and still function properly? Looks complicated. Also, running the power for the brake light to the side mount license bracket? I've seen quite a few side mount assemblies on softails here and hoping someone will give the advice and any tips that I need... Thanks for your time...Ray...

 

I spliced in the wire and extended it and ran it down the swingarm using tie wraps. nothing complicated...
