Default Fork cap
Couldn't find in a search. Anyone know if the chrome cap that covers the stem nut on the forks of a 94 heritage screws on or just pops off.
SM only says remove doesn't say how.

Unscrews. 1 3/8 socket. Special sockets for this available at Dennis Kirk. Or you can use adjustable wrench, or a regular socket and some painter's tape to protect the finish.

This is the round cap in the center between the forks about 2 1/4" diameter . Maybe something a PO installed.

Thanks that did the trick. Found one of those rubber strap gadgets and it brought it off.
