Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I just had to tell someone! My local HD shop is installing a chrome front end, Wild1 518 handlebars, new grips, chrome buttons & chrome control levers. Should be quite a difference to my 2006 Heritage Classic! I'll post pics when done & update my pic on the Heritage picture thread.
It will definately change the look and feel. I just installed everything you are plus a chrome nacelle, diamondback cables, chrome master cylinder and switch housings. You gonna really enjoy it better.
Zip Ties! It was for a slow speed parade. Wouldn't hold up to highway use and would probably scratch the chrome inside rails after awhile.Your local Harley dealer has actual flag mounts.

It's always exciting when your customizing the bike. [sm=smiley20.gif]
It's amazing how you can spend a small fortune on just the front end of a bike.
Looking forward to the Pics!
Yea, I miss the bike. It should be ready sometime next week.Service managersays the chrome lowers were on back order but were "released" by Harley yesterday. "Small fortune" is right. Looks like you should know! BOTM! Cool ride. Maybe one day...
How was the Nacelle upgrade??? Did you have to modify it at all??? I want to put one on my Deluxe but I'm afraid how much I'll have to modify it to fit and with it being so much $$$ I'm hesitant....Your Bike Looks great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Installing the nacelle is a no problems. You do have to drill a hole for the aux light switch, unless you find a way to use something else. Also, you can do it without having to cut/splice any wires if you have a wire terminal removal tool and just push the rubber boot through the back of the head lamp assembly. Go for it.
