Finally I'm gonna get a chance to install my shotgun shock tomorrow morning.
It's been sitting on my kitchen table at home since Monday.
I've been going crazy staring at it every night!!!
I'll be taking lots of pics and maybe even some videos tomorrow, so If you have any questions or would like to see any specific pictures let me know.
I'll be posting pics up on twitter, if you wanna follow, I'm @jeremyjjwright.
Best of luck, hope it all goes smooth. Are you clear on wire routing? That was the one thing I worried about because my splash guard is metal and if I have a rub going on one day down the road Im going to have an issue. Its going to be when I'm 300 miles from home at 9:00 at night on a sunday in the pouring rain..lol
I don't remember pics in the instructions for routing but I used a crap load of zip ties. So far so good.
It was an easy install with the rear tire off (I was doing a chrome swing arm at the time)
I think I'm pretty good on wire routing. I've got a good resource here if I run into any probs. I've also heard JD is really good with helping if you run into issues.

- it never fails man!!
I always think I'm going to take a ton of pictures when I do a big project, but when it gets down to it, I just want to get the damn thing done and usually don't take a single one...
Not to hijack the thread but do you know if that Windvest bug screen uses the same hardware the normal Windvest shields do?
And... your bike is gonna look sick with the shotgun installed! I love me a bobtail! Lol
Its not a windvest bugscreen, its a windvest frame. The original windshield that came with the frame was clear and about 10" taller. Sorry I don't remember what brand the bugscreen is.
And don't worry I'll put up lots of pics tomorrow or Sunday.
