its not slander.. its my opinion.. when I ordered them I was led to believe the baffles were interchangable.. and powder hasn't holed up.. its been dyno'd & tuned and there are spots not a bluing.. and the website I ordered them from stated 6hp gain.. so I am perfectly well in my right to be disappointed and not to recommend them.. I think they're junk.. And have never had any problem w/ V&H.. hell the powder coat didnt hold up on my slip-ons on my 2010 Fatboy Lo.. a big chunk broke off and was told to ship them to Gary, IN & have them powder coated.. that I would have to pay for.. so yeah I am disappointed & yeah I did contact them.. they corrected their website because it was misleading because I double checked it. and It took them emailing them twice to get an answer so their customer service isnt great either. Its not an issue.. I wont buy or recommend them.. its really that simple
get a dictionary.. Slander likewise denotes false statements that damage a persons reputation, but it is committed orally or in any other transient form
PM Rush since they reached out to you, let them fix the problem and be done with it. My guess is that Rush will do the right thing and send you a new exhaust. If that happens, and you still hate Rush, sell it in the Classifieds, CL or eBay and get something different.
Constantly bitching for the sake of bitching isn't doing you any good, especially when Rush has reached out to you because now everyone's against you.
C'mon ... Really?? ... Rush has been and I'll bet will continue to be one the best companies out there when it comes to "Quality For Money Spent" and Customer Service ... Just today I called Rush and spoke with Adam regarding packing for my mufflers ( which are 4.5 years old ) and to my surprise they offered the packing to me free of charge ... How are you going to beat that?
My set of rush blued over and look like ****. just bought a set of bassani pipes
Just put a set Rush of 2" slip ons. Warranty clearly states blueing is not covered. Any pipes will blue if running too lean. Sounds like your treating the symptom and not the cause
I just think that people install parts on their bike and send it for tuning and the guy who "knows" what he is doing tunes it and there are issues after like powdercoat coming off and blueing all comes from improper tuning. I'd be pissed off at the tuner not the company that made the parts. It seems like this guy had issues with 2 bikes and more than likely the same tuner so there you go whats the same here the tuner. The next thing the peeps will be bashing V&H and Samson as one will blue and the other will have the powder discolor due to excessive heat. Fix the problem not the result..JMO

Sorry you had an issue. Post some pics. Discoloring would be covered under warranty if a dealer installed them or if you installed them following our recommendations for baffle size and tuning. What bike and year do you have, baffle size, part number for mufflers, who installed them, how long before discoloring, do you still have them? If we could see some pics we could start a warranty claim.
